Mihai Voda (Professor)

Mihai Voda is professor at the Department of Geography at Dimitrie Cantemir University from Targu Mures and prof.dr.habil. at the University of Oradea. He holds a PhD in Geography from Babes Bolyai University and an MA in Applied Informatics from the Technical University in Cluj Napoca. Mihai was visiting professor at Wuhan University, Tokyo Keizai University, Makerere University, California State University and Cairo University. Mihai has a HDR in Geography obtained at Lorraine University in France on the role of Geomedia techniques for the prospection and promotion of a region as an alternative to sustainable development. His research interest is in applied informatics, with a particular focus on smartphone geo-applications analysis and Geomedia techniques. His primary fields of thematic interest are the geography and sustainability.
