In commemoration with Makerere University’s celebration of 100 years of existence, a special issue is planned with the African Geographical Review (AGR) Journal, published by Taylor & Francis on behalf of the American Association of Geographers' Africa Specialty Group. The journal was originally established in 1963 at Makerere University as the East African Geographical Review. The AGR impact score for 2022 is 2.68. Thus, 10-12 outstanding manuscripts presented at the MERIT conference will be considered for publication in the special issue, which is expected to come out in 2023. Interested authors will be requested to submit full manuscript by 30th November 2022.
The manuscripts will go through a peer review process for quality control purposes.
